AssessmentAt Rio Grande, recovery starts with a thorough assessment of your needs, problems, and strengths. You work with a licensed professional to determine which level of treatment will be work best for you. Assessment takes four hours or so, usually spread over two visits to RGATP.
Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient TreatmentRio Grande's programs are built around convenient sessions that help you meet your recovery goals while you continue living at home and keeping your regular schedule. Sessions are available during day and evening hours, Monday through Friday and some Saturdays. The goal of any Rio Grande treatment session is to help you better understand yourself and develop tools for a productive recovery from drugs and alcohol. Both the Outpatient and the Intensive Outpatient programs are designed to meet requirements from Courts, employers, and third-party payor referral sources.
Session RequirementsThe Outpatient program is individualized to your needs, usually one or two group or individual sessions weekly. Intensive outpatient sessions are for those who require additional support, and involve nine hours or more of treatment, ordinarily in three weekly sessions.
